Image Quality Analysis

 

For stock photography websites and other similar image repositories, the quality of images being uploaded is of utmost importance. As in most of the cases the number of images are of the scale of millions, manually skimming through these images is both a tedious process and a wastage of human resources. Computer Vision based AI bots can be employed instead, which can categorize images according to their quality accurately and swiftly.

 

Quality analysis AI engine bots are trained on historic image quality check data from the quality check teams. Models can learn from features like high quality, sharpness, clarity, blur, fade etc., of the given training data. Once trained these bots can distinguish high quality images from those with degraded quality. Images with high quality scores are accepted while those with low quality scores are rejected. Images with an intermediate quality may be held back for manual inspection.
